Farmland Assessment Information

Hillsborough Township is proud to have well over 200 properties assessed under the Farmland Assessment Act. This preferential assessment is made available to properties wherein a minimum of five (5) acres are actively devoted to agricultural or horticultural use (other rules apply). A major requirement is the annual filing of an application on or before August 1^st.

If you are presently farmland assessed, you will receive the annual application form on or before July 1^st. If you do not receive this form or require a new application, please call this office during business hours. The completed farmland assessment application must be returned on or before August 1^st.

Late applications will be cause for denial of your QFARM assessment for the upcoming year.   Farmland forms and information can be found below.

2023 Woodland Data Form WD-1 – Submit if you have a Woodland Plan You must also include a woodland activity map annually
