Veteran and Surviving Spouse Deductions

There is an annual $250.00 property tax deduction for veterans or their surviving spouses. To qualify the applicant must be an honorably discharged, active duty US Armed Forces veteran or the unmarried surviving spouse of a service person.

The applicant must be a property owner and legal resident of New Jersey, and, where applicable, prove that the deceased veteran was a legal resident of New Jersey. Please visit the following link for the application and additional information.
