A limited number of Permits for the Park and Ride Lot, located on South side of Amwell Road between Route 206 and Estate Drive, are available for purchase by Hillsborough High School Students. Passes can be purchased for a fee of $25.
Passes will be made available for purchase shortly after the distribution of parking passes by Hillsborough High School. Permits shall be issued semi-annually subject to availability. The semi-annual permits shall be valid from the start of the school year through January 31 and February 1 through the end of the school year.

All applicants who submitted a request for a parking pass on or before 2/7/2023 have been notified via email and can come to the Township Clerk's Office in the Municipal Building to purchase their permits. The office is open Monday through Friday from 8-4:30.
Additional passes are available on a first-come first-serve basis.

The application for the Park and Ride Lot will open the day after the High School issues student parking permits in both the fall and the spring semester. The application will remain open for one week. If the number of applications received exceeds the number of parking spots available, a lottery will be held. If additional spots remain available, the application will be reopened until permits sell out.
The Park and Ride lot is located on the south side of Amwell Road across from the Post Office.
No. Passes issued in September are valid through the end of January. Passes for the second half of the year will be issued in February and are valid through the end of the school year.
40 spots are reserved for student use at the park and ride lot. After the first 40 passes are distributed, a waiting list will be established for additional passes that may become available.
Students must complete the parking application online, including vehicle make model and license plate and must have a valid driver’s license. Parking passes will not be issued to students with learner’s permits.
Yes, if there are still passes available after distribution day, they will be available in the Township Clerk/Administration Office at the Municipal Building.
