Hillsborough Township Parks and Recreation Department Receives NJRPA Award

Hillsborough Township’s Parks and Recreation Department was recognized at the 2024 Annual New Jersey Recreation and Parks Association (NJRPA) conference.

The NJRPA awards were held in February of this year to identify dedicated leaders, employees, and volunteers in the field of Parks and Recreation and recognize the State’s outstanding Park and Recreation agencies for excellence in programming, publicity, and facility design.

Honored under the “Video Promotion” category, the Hillsborough Township Parks and Recreation team won the Agency Showcase Award for their spring campaign, “How the Grinch Stole Our Christmas Tree.”

“We were very excited and proud to see that our submission was selected to be the winner for 2024,” said Bob Wagner, Hillsborough's Director of Parks and Recreation and Social Services.

“Congratulations to Hillsborough’s Recreation Department on being recognized for their fun and engaging campaign,” added Committeewoman and Recreation Liaison Samantha Hand.
