March is Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month
March is Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month, a good reminder for everyone over the age of 45 to begin screening for colon cancer. Many people with early-stage colon cancer have no symptoms or family history and are diagnosed through screening. Every race, gender, and ethnicity is at risk for colon cancer. Luckily, it’s treatable in about 90% of people when caught early.
