Hillsborough Township Provides Update to Green Hills Neighborhood

Residents of the Green Hills neighborhood in Hillsborough Township were invited to attend a meeting at the Hillsborough Municipal Building to receive an update on the drainage mitigation study that was recently conducted.

The meeting, which was held on the evening of October 17th, addressed the Phase 1 drainage area study, in which Mark Mayhew of Pennoni Engineering, outlined the completed cleanup of the ditch in the Western portion of Green Hills and discussed future mitigation options.

Mark Mayhew, Mayor Shawn Lipani, and Committeeman John Ciccarelli took part in a follow-up question and answer session with residents. Approximately 20 Green Hills residents attended the meeting and had the opportunity to share historic area details and present questions and concerns. “Hillsborough Township will continue to update the Green Hills neighborhood,” stated Mayor Shawn Lipani.
