C.A.N. Requests Holiday Donations

The Hillsborough Community Assistance Network (C.A.N) is gearing up for the 2023 Holiday Food and Gift Program. The program, which is administered through the Hillsborough Township Social Services Department, looks to provide a small reprieve for those in need by lending a helping hand in providing food and gifts for the holidays.

For Thanksgiving, the C.A.N. is requesting donations of nonperishable food items to provide to families in need. For the Christmas/Hanukkah Holidays, C.A.N. is requesting food to provide to families in need.

Items needed for Thanksgiving and Christmas distribution include: ● Stuffing ● Boxed potatoes ● Gravy ● Broth ● Cranberry Sauce ● Cake mixes ● Crackers/snacks Additionally, the following items are needed for regular weekly distribution:

● Toilet paper

● Paper towels

● Laundry detergent

● Dish detergent

● Pasta

● Pasta sauce

● Mac & Cheese (boxed)

● Tea

● Coffee
