In December the Recreation Department held the 2nd Annual “Home for the Holidays” House Decorating Contest. 23 beautifully decorated homes were entered into the contest and we were able to award multiple prizes thanks to our generous sponsors. Hillsborough Recreation would like to extend a special THANK YOU to the following companies: Norz Hill Farm & Market, Bella Pizza, Flounder Brewing, Code Ninjas, Caffe Piazza, Primrose School of Hillsborough, and The Ice House. The Best Decorated House award went to 4 Yost Drive. Congratulations to all who won and thank you to those who participated.
Also in December, the Recreation Department held a Santa Letter Campaign. A special thank you to Girl Scout Service Unit 72 enough for helping with the Santa Letters. Over 400 letters were put in Santa’s Mailbox and the Girl Scouts were instrumental in making sure Santa received all of them!
In the spirit of giving, the Recreation Department is pleased to announce that they have donated 100 pairs of pajamas to the Pajama Program and local families in need. The Pajama Program promotes and supports a comforting bedtime routine and healthy sleep for all children to help them thrive. Thank you to all who contributed.
