NJ COVID Community Corps Seeks Volunteers

As you may know, both the Biden Administration and Governor Phil Murphy have set the goal to have 70% of the adult population vaccinated before the end of June. For New Jersey to achieve that goal, WE NEED YOUR HELP!   

Over the upcoming weekends in June, we will ask you to join us in raising awareness about local vaccination sites and help residents schedule vaccine appointments in areas with low coverage (to see the current coverage in your municipality, please visit the COVID Vaccine Data Dashboard). Every knock and every conversation would help us move closer to our goal.    

As part of the effort to expand the NJ COVID Community Corps, we will need residents like you to become volunteers during the weekends.  

 Volunteers will: 

• Receive trainings to improve leadership and communications skills.   
• Conduct in-person outreach in areas of high priority across NJ.  
• Play a pivotal role in ensuring that the COVID Community Corps reach as many communities as possible.    

We are hosting two introductory calls this week to provide an overview of the role of volunteers, what that means for you, and answer any questions you might have. We would really appreciate it if you could join one of the following sessions:
