Sump Pump Discharge Reminder
The Engineering Department would like to remind residents that with the cold weather existing sump pumps discharging to the street or sidewalk causing hazardous ice conditions to the road travel lanes or sidewalks must be relocated. It is acceptable if the ice only impacts the gutter area. All new sump pump discharges are not allowed to be pumped to the street per the Township Code. Also please note that the second phase of repaving Willow Road from Valinor Drive to Hillsborough Road is delayed until Spring 2021. The contactors workforce is quarantining at home due to exposure to COVID-19, which caused them to cease all paving and concrete operations. They are committed to having this as their top priority in the spring once the weather is warm enough for paving.
