Township’s 2020 Green Living and Wellness Fair - Postponed

New Date - October 17, 2020

“The Annual Green Living and Wellness Fair which was originally set for Saturday, May 30th, has been postponed until Saturday, October 17th and will be held in conjunction with a Family Fun Run sponsored by the Hillsborough YMCA”, announced Mayor Doug Tomson.  

The Fair, which will be held rain or shine, is from 8 - 11 a.m. at the Peter J. Biondi Municipal Building.

Participating local businesses will have informative presentations, displays and demonstrations to raise awareness of the many facets of living a healthy lifestyle, including making sound nutritional choices, making long-term life planning decisions, choosing a green lifestyle as well as many health screenings.

Those organizations wishing to participate in the Fair must register in advance by calling the Health Department at 908-369-5652.

About the Green Living and Wellness Fair:

The Annual Green Living and Wellness Fair began as a health fair offered by the Township.  As times have changed so has the complexion of this initiative.  The fair now comprises a holistic approach to wellness, not just health related but wellness for the environment.  The evolution of the fair has allowed for an expanded approach widening the resources and available programs to participate.
