School Bus Safety Tips

School will be in session in just a couple of weeks. With that in mind, the Hillsborough Police Department would like to remind Hillsborough residents of the following school bus safety tips - Never pass a stopped school bus when lights are flashing, be aware of increased pedestrian traffic in and around schools and bus stops if on the opposite side of a median from a stopped school bus, reduce speed to 10 MPH, and remember to allow for extra travel time and anticipate increased volume around schools.
