Hillsborough New Jersey

Recycling is required by law in New Jersey. Hillsborough Ordinance 2020-03, Article II “Recycling” sets the rules for properly recycling, as well as sets the fine schedule for violations. Fines for not complying with the Hillsborough Township Recycling Ordinance are punishable by a fine not less than $250, nor more than $1000 for each day the violation occurs.
