Save The Date: Christmas Tree Lighting (Nov. 30th) Celebrate the Holiday Season with Festive Township Activities

Hillsborough Township will kick off the Holiday Season on Friday, November 30th with the annual lighting of the Township Christmas Tree.

The festivities will begin at 6 pm and will include train rides (weather permitting) from 6-8pm, an Ice Sculpture Demonstration, and a surprise visit from Elsa, Anna, and Olaf of Disney’s Frozen.

Santa will arrive courtesy of the Flagtown Fire Department at 7 pm to help light the Christmas tree. Hot cocoa, cookies, and candy canes will be provided, while supplies last, compliments of the Hillsborough Township Recreation Department. DJ Lou will perform outside around fire barrels to help warm the atmosphere, alongside two live performances from Flair Dance Academy and Triangle Dance Academy prior to the tree being lit.

Please note in the event of inclement weather, limited activities will be moved inside.

“This is an annual highlight of the year for our community and we hope to see you all there,” commented Mayor Gloria McCauley.
