A Celebration of the Arts to Save Lives and Promote Mental Health
(Rain date is Sunday, June 30th)
Mayor Frank DelCore announced at Tuesday’s meeting that the Hillsborough Independence Day Fireworks Celebration will be held on Saturday, June 29th.
“We are pleased to announce the combination of the Fireworks Celebration with the Hillsborough Music Fest this year,” added Mayor DelCore.
This years celebration will feature:
- Food Tent
- Free inflatable amusements available from 5pm to 8pm
- Free Dunk Tank
- Pay to Play Boardwalk Games
- DJ and live performances for musical entertainment from 5pm to 9pm
“This is an important collaborative community event to benefit both BOROSAFE and the Jonah Johnson Youth Scholarship Fund,” stated Mayor Frank DelCore at Tuesday’s Township Committee Meeting.
The HMF will feature outstanding and diverse local bands, solo artists, great food, vendors, and children’s activities. Since 2010 the festival has raised funds for youth suicide prevention through outreach, education, and mental health awareness programs. Local businesses, sponsors, and community members who want to join this festival to add their time and resources to support this great day.
The food tent will include refreshments such pizza, chicken, hamburgers, hot dogs, kettle corn and more.
The festivities begin at 5 pm at the Auten Road Intermediate School field. Shuttle busses will be available, beginning at 4:30 pm, from the Hillsborough High School parking lot.
The rain date is Sunday June 30th.
