Hillsborough Junior Raiders Field Hockey goes Undefeated

The 2018 Hillsborough Jr. Raiders Field Hockey Jr. Stix Gold Team had a very successful season. They achieved a 7-0-0 record and won first place in the New Jersey Pennsylvania (NJPA) Tournament after competing in the Round Robin competition.

The young athletes of the team who made this possible were Hannah Bianchino, Victoria Byra, Milan Citarella, Margaret Harding, Addison Harkin, Keira Kruchowy, Kerry Lydon, Karolina Matejczyk, Shannon Rice, Natalia Simcak and Jessie Timler.

The team was led by head coaches Danielle Citarella and Jenifer Harding, along with junior coaches Hailey Bianchino, Brooklyn Citarella, Grace Gonzalez and Ainsley Harkin

The Hillsborough Township Committee commends the Hillsborough Jr. Raiders Field Hockey Jr. Stix Gold Team, the coaches and parents, not only for their successful season, but for their hard work, dedication, and commitment to the sport and to those principles of good sportsmanship, teamwork and academic achievement which the organization endorses.
