Hillsborough Celebrates Independence Day Fireworks and Family Fun & Music Fest

“This year’s first combined Hillsborough Township Fireworks and Music Fest celebration was a great success”, Mayor Frank DelCore proudly announced.

Weather didn’t stop the Hillsborough Independence Day Fireworks Celebration and Family Fun & Music from happening. The event was held on Saturday, June 29th.

The event showcased local musical talent, food vendors and businesses working together to raise funds for a cause – suicide prevention and youth mental health resiliency.

Close to 5,000 people were able to attend and enjoy the festivities. The spectacular fireworks showcase started around 9:30pm. In addition to the fireworks display, there were free inflatables, pay-to-play board walk games, a food tent, DJ and live performances.

“Thank you to all who came out and celebrated with us, “, Mayor DelCore shared. “We also thank all of the sponsors and supporters of this festival and the wonderful performers and volunteers.”
