Greg Burchette has been on the Township Committee for five years. He was Deputy Mayor for two of those years. Committeeman Burchette is no stranger to Hillsborough local government as he has served on the Planning Board since 2004 and was the Chair in 2009 and 2010. Burchette also served as the Chair for the Environmental Commission from 2002 through 2005 and as a member of the Hillsborough Municipal Utilities Authority since 2011.
A local businessman for the past 30 years, Mr. Burchette brings a unique perspective to the already professionally diverse Township Committee. Presently, Committeeman Burchette owns an automotive specialty repair facility called Bridgewater Motorworks located in Bridgewater, NJ. He also manages Central Jersey Airport.
Helping people has also been a passion of the Committeeman. He has been an active member of the Hillsborough Rotary Club for 17 years, as well as a volunteer commercially rated pilot for the PALS organization. PALS flight volunteers provide free air transportation to individuals needing transportation for medical treatment.
Committeeman Burchette is a graduate of Moravian College and Lehigh University with a BS degree in Hydrogeology. He has lived in Hillsborough for 18 years and is married to Sella, and has one son, Jared.
