This office is responsible for collecting real estate property taxes, billing of taxes to appropriate homeowners and mortgage companies. The Chief Financial Officer supervises the various divisions.
The Treasurer is responsible for the receipt and collection of all moneys raised by taxation.
Department of Finance will either invest or disburse, in accordance with the guidelines set forth by the annual budget, any moneys received.

- Disabled Persons — Surviving Spouses of Disabled
- Senior Citizens
When money is escrowed for taxes, it is the homeowners responsibility to notify the tax office in writing with the bank code of their lending agency.
Any time a property is refinanced or sold to another bank, the Bank code must be changed.
When mortgages are satisfied, the tax office must be notified in writing to remove the bank code.
Change of Address:
The Tax Collector must be notified in writing of any changes in billing address.
